Originally it was a classically laid out dwelling consisting of three bedrooms (one of which opened onto a courtyard), a living room, kitchen and bathroom, connected by a long, narrow corridor. The kitchen and living room were on opposite sides of the house.

The proposal consists of a single bedroom, a complete bathroom, a toilet and a large space comprising a living room-kitchen-dining room-study integrated into a single space overlooking the main views offered by the dwelling. Initially the clients requested a second bedroom to accommodate possible visitors and a small study. Our proposal was to create a study space and guest bedroom integrated into the main space of the house that could be made independent by means of movable panels. In this way, a single living space is created in the house, fully usable 365 days a year.

As for the furniture, contemporary pieces in neutral tones have been used, including some mustard-coloured elements to give a touch of warmth and colour to the whole.
