The portal to be renovated is located on a busy central street in Bilbao, with some night-time activity. The community intends to carry out the renovation to achieve an aesthetic and functional improvement of the space, an improvement in accessibility and an improvement in the safety of the neighbours.

From the outside, the large window from which the entire main space of the portal can be seen takes centre stage. Through the wooden entrance door, you can access the public hall of the portal, where the mailboxes, the planters and the door that gives access to the hidden corridor containing the accessible ramp are located.

Once past the main staircase, you reach the private area separated by a glass screen, which is visually non-existent.

Using simple, clear language and a catalogue of noble and contained materials, a functional, elegant, contemporary and safe entrance portal is organised.
