The Reception Center is intended to manage all group visits arriving from all the countries of the Union to the European Parliament in Brussels.

The center is set up vertically, occupying 3 floors, originally used as a warehouse and offices.

One of the problems to be solved in the project was the lack of natural light on the two lower floors. Since there is no natural light on these lower floors, the project creates a vertical opening in order to provide overhead light to these spaces. On the other hand, the perimeter walls of the center are made of backlit glass, which gives it great luminosity.

Following the program required by the PEB, the grouping area is located on floor -1, the bathroom and visitor information area is located on floor 0 and finally, floor 1 is used for the organization of the groups, area vending and access to Parliament.
